Diane Losier

Diane Losier is from Tracadie. She has been an actress, host and director since the 1980s.  On stage, she distinguished herself in the one-Roman shows: "Valentine", and "Intrusions", in the successful play "Laurie ou la vie de galerie" for 7 years and she played the role of "Marie-Pet" at the "Pays de la Sagouine".  She played in several musical theatres: Louis Mailloux, Tracadie Story, Viens avec moi, the rock opera of the Hôtesses d'Hilaire, On a tous une Lydia Lee, Marie-Jo Thério's cabaret and she played the lead role of Germaine Lauzon in Belles-Sœurs.  On the small screen, she played several leading roles in ''Belle-Baie'', ''Les Newbies'', ''Le Siège'', ''Le Clan'', ''Samuel et la mer'' and in ''Garde-Partagée''.  In the cinema, she was seen in ''Camion'', ''Pour mieux t'aimer'', ''Mordu d'éplan'' and ''Éxils''.

 

On the radio, she has hosted at CKRO, CISE and Radio-Canada.  On stage, she is a faithful collaborator for the ''Salon du livre de la Péninsule acadienne'' where she animates literary evenings.  She has hosted, among others, shows for the World Acadian Congress, as well as the "Francofête en Acadie".  On television, she hosted two seasons of "Les Grands bâtisseurs".

 

In 2009 she was named ambassador of the Town of Tracadie, where she is originally from.

Albert Belzile

Born in Dégelis, Albert Belzile spent his childhood in Saint-Jean-de-la-Lande, a small village bordering Lac-Baker. After completing his elementary studies in 1959, he went to the minor seminary in Rimouski to begin his classical studies, which he continued for six years at Saint-Louis College in Edmundston. Upon his return from a year of study in French literature at Laval University (where he was mainly involved in theatre with the Troupe des 13), he began a career on Edmundston radio until 1975.

 

A singer-songwriter and comedian in the days of the boîtes à chansons, he has since tried his hand at several artistic expressions, whether it be poetic writing (Des maux et cris en do malheur, 1987; Du Choc à l'âme, 1999; Les pleurs du mêle, 2002) or radio drama (Cassandre, 1998 and a few other texts), as well as radio (where he worked for some fifteen years, including three years at Radio-Canada) and television, where he took part in numerous programs. Actor in a dozen films, including Massabielle, Le Grand Jack, Bricklin and Les Baie, series two and three.
